esterday, February 5, 2024, the Commission on Higher Education Regional Office 2 (CHED RO2), through the initiative of the LPGMA Party List and in partnership with the Isabela State University (ISU), handed-out grants under the Student Monetary Assistance for Recovery and Transition (SMART) program at the Climate Change Function Hall of the Isabela State University – Echague Campus.
Atty. Marco Cicero F. Domingo, OIC-Director IV of CHED RO2, Hon. Allan U. Ty, Representative of the LPGMA Party List, and key executives of ISU, led by University President Dr. Ricmar P. Aquino, graced the distribution of the one-time financial assistance to 109 qualified students.
Contributing to Filipino students’ journey towards academic and professional development, SMART grant serves as a part of the country’s National Employment Recovery Strategy in view of the effects inflicted by the recent global pandemic.
