In a bid to advance the knowledge and skills of staff and instructors in higher education institutions, the Scholarships for Staff and Instructors’ Knowledge Advancement Program (SIKAP) Grant for Full-Time Study was established. The success of this program, however, hinges on timely submission of the required documentary requirements.

The Commission on Higher Education Regional Office 02 (CHED RO2) through its K to 12 Project Management Unit (PMU), conducted an information session on April 20, 2023, to provide an orientation on the SIKAP grant special request documents and other necessary documents required for the implementation of the SIKAP program and to disseminate information about the possible consequences of non-compliance and the critical nature of timely submission of the required documents.

The face to face activity took place at the CHEDRO2 Auditorium which was attended by fifty-seven (57) SIKAP scholars for full-time study and one (1) CAR enrolled in Region 2 and four (4) Deans of Graduate School/Grant Management Officers from the different delivering higher education institutions namely Isabela State University- Cabagan Campus, Nueva Vizcaya State University- Bayombong Campus, Saint Mary’s University and University of Saint Louis-Tuguegarao.
