The Commission on Higher Education Regional Office 2 (CHED RO2), in partnership with the Isabela State University – Cauayan Campus (ISU Cauayan Campus) and the Office of Hon. Allan U. Ty, LPGMA Partylist Representative, spearheads the Orientation and Distribution of Grants to new beneficiaries of the Tulong-Dunong Program (Batch 5.1) for the First Semester of the Academic Year 2023-2024 at the ISU –  Cauayan Campus’ Gymnasium, Cauayan City, Isabela.

CHED RO2 Director-in-Charge, Atty. Marco Cicero F. Domingo, UniFAST OIC-Executive Director, Atty Ryan L. Estevez, LPGMA Partylist Representative, Hon. Allan U. Ty, and officials of ISU Cauayan Campus graced the event that is aimed to make the new TDP student-grantees informed of the program’s guidelines, and their roles and responsibilities as beneficiaries. It also serves as an avenue to facilitate the distribution of TDP financial grants for the First Semester of the Academic Year 2023-2024.

As one of the various programs covered under the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act (UAQTEA), TDP is a financial assistance that support at least the partial cost of tertiary education and education-related expenses of Filipino students enrolled in State Universities and Colleges (SUCs), CHED-recognized Local Universities and Colleges (LUCs), and Private Higher Education Institutions (HEIs).
