In line with the observance of this year’s International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking (IDADAIT), the Commission on Higher Education Regional Office 2 recently hosted various contested events that revolved around the theme “People First: Stop Stigma and Discrimination, Strengthen Prevention”.
Submissions from various HEIs across the region for the song and video production, spoken word poetry, and poster-making contests were adjudged on June 26, 2023, while the Quiz Bee Competition was conducted on July 10, 2023. Podium placers in the foregoing competitions are as follows:
