The Commission on Higher Education Regional Office 2 (CHED RO2) paid a courtesy visit with the representatives of various congressional districts across the region on July 25-26, 2023.

Headed by OIC-Regional Director Atty. Marco Cicero F. Domingo and membered by Mr. Rey S. Tuddao, Education Supervisor II, and Ms. Leah Sandra M. Perez, Project Technical Staff III and UniFAST Lead Regional Coordinator for Region 2, the team successfully met with Hon. Ciriaco B. Gato Jr., Representative of the Lone District of Batanes; Hon. Ramon C. Nolasco Jr., Cagayan’s First District Representative; Hon. Joseph Lara, Cagayan’s Third District Representative; Hon. Antonio Albano, Isabela’s First District Representative; Hon. Ed Christopher Go, Isabela’s Second District of Representative; Hon. Ian Paul Dy, Isabela’s Third District Representative; Hon. Joseph Tan, Isabela’s Fourth District Representative; and Hon. Faustino Dy V, Isabela’s Sixth District Representative.

As part of CHED RO2’s mission of strengthening the accessibility of quality higher education, the visit served as an avenue for the discussion of concerns and updates relevant to the implementation of the different student scholarship and grant-in-aid programs in the region.
