The Commission on Higher Education Regional Office 2 (CHEDRO2) recently participated in the Serbisyo Caravan held last March 2, 2023, in Naruangan, Tuao, Cagayan. The event was organized by the Provincial Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Office under the Provincial Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (PTF-ELCAC) and aimed to bring government services closer to the people, particularly those residing in remote and underserved areas. The one-day event was a joint effort of various government agencies to provide wide range of services, such as medical and dental check-ups, distribution of food packs, livelihood trainings, and scholarship opportunities.

CHEDRO2’s participation in the Serbisyo Caravan highlighted the agency’s commitment in providing quality education and services to the people. The office was provided a booth where they distributed brochures to educate the public about the agency’s programs and services.

The activity was participated by around 1,700 households from Barangay Bugnay, Lakambini, Mambacag, and San Luis.

Overall, the Serbisyo Caravan was a success, with thousands of residents benefiting from the various government services provided. The event demonstrated the government’s commitment to addressing the needs of its people and improving their quality of life. By reaching out to underserved communities, the agency hopes to encourage more students to pursue higher education and improve their chances of securing a better future.
