Earlier this day, Dr. Marita R. Canapi, Commissioner of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), visited the CHED Regional Office 2. After presiding a series of Board Meetings this week, Comm. Canapi took a quick visit and met with the employees of CHED Regional Office 2.
Dr. Canapi joined CHED in February 2022 and is currently serving as the Chairperson-designate of the respective governing boards of four public Higher Education Institutions in the region, namely, the Batanes State College, the Isabela State University, the Nueva Vizcaya State University, and the Quirino State University.
Before becoming a Commissioner, Dr. Canapi served as the University President of the University of Rizal System and had a stint as Vice President for Academic Affairs of the University of Makati and the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Marikina.
